discerning taste buds and welcomes you to our restaurant overlooking the loch.
The Bistro Bar and Public Bar afford loch side views and both Bars offer wide
range of tasty and inexpensive food, with Live Entertainment on some Saturday

You can enjoy an activity holiday based on the Loch

such a pleasure.

Lochearnhead.
The breathtaking views from the hotel, looking across
Loch Earn towards Glen Ample, are dominated by Ben Vorlich, our nearest Munro.
For hill walkers and climbers, we are located on the Rob Roy long distance
walking route which runs from Drymen to Killiecrankie. Around 40 Munros are
within a one hour drive of the Hotel.
For cyclists The Lowland Highland Trail, part of
National Cycle Network Route 7, passes through the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs
National Park. It runs between Killin in the northeast and Drymen in the south,
via Glen Ogle, Lochearnhead, Strathyre, Callander, Aberfoyle and Gartmore. The
route uses forest tracks, traffic-free trails and minor roads and is regarded as
one of the highlights of the National Cycle Network.
The Clachan Cottage Hotel welcomes fishermen, fishing
groups, and anglers' clubs. Fishing is permitted off the shore of the hotel or
you can hire boats from the Drummond Estate and fish most of the 6.5 miles of
Loch Earn.
Alternatively simply come and relax, taking in the
breathtaking views of the scenic splendour that is Lochearnhead.
